Look for his advice

"A son is given to us ... We give him for name: wonderful counselor." Isaiah 9.5

I hope you're in shape this morning, full of energy, ready to attack the day !

There is no doubt that you have a lot of things to think about and organize for today. However, I'm sure there is one thing you have not noticed in your to-do list and without which you will not be able to do anything ... breathe !

What is most vital to you is not the subject of any profound reflection or decision. Yet, you have a basic and natural need to inspire and then continually expire without stopping. Humans perform about 20,000 breathing cycles a day ... inspiring, exhaling. Fortunately, you do not have to think about every breath. You do not plan to breathe, you breathe that's all.

The Bible says that Jesus is your counselor, a "wonderful counselor".

In the same way, prayer, communication, communion with God is indispensable for a balanced spiritual life. Taking the time each day to speak with God and to receive his counsel and encouragement is essential. In the morning, turn your thoughts to the Lord ... his greatness, his goodness, his kindness, his love, etc ... I inspire and I breathe out. I receive his life and give him my life.

The Bible says that Jesus is your counselor, a "wonderful counselor".

God reminds you, by the name given to the Son, that he wants to be with you in every decision you make, and that he is ready to guide you on the path he has planned for you.

When you do not know what to do, when you are lost, be quiet in yourself, calm your worries, listen ... and listen to your wonderful counselor speak to you and guide you.

There are things that your eyes can not see, that your ears can not hear, and that your heart can not even understand. Yet, these hidden things (1 Corinthians 2: 9-10), God has already prepared them for those who love Him. And I know that you love the Lord.

There are good things prepared for you. And his desire is to reveal them to you by his Spirit, who knows and probes everything, even the depths of God. Why continue to move forward in life without receiving these revelations for you? For your present situation ? For your future ?

An encouragement for today

Communion with God is what keeps you "alive" every day. It is vital. I invite you to do more than a habit, a lifestyle. In time, talking with God and seeking his advice will become as natural to you as breathing !
