Loss of moral sense

Flaunting one's private life in front of everyone, without moral restraint, is now fashionable on social networks and in the media. What was once condemned by public morality is now not only tolerated, but presented as an advance in the carelessness of our societies.

The Bible tells us of a time when people had lost all fear of God : "The expression of their face bears witness against them and, as Sodom did, they reveal their sin without hiding anything about it. Woe to them, for they themselves are plotting their doom !” (Isaiah 3.9). This is what happens to those who persist in a path opposed to the will of God.

The loss of moral sense arises from the fact that man by nature prefers darkness to light. If we reject God and the teaching he gives in his Word, the Bible, then our conscience is distorted. God warns us all : “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil... Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves intelligent !” (Isaiah 5. 20, 21). Such a path ends in disorder, suffering and the judgment of God.

However, God does not want our misfortune, but our happiness. "Look ! I set before you today life and good, or death and evil... Choose life that you may live" (Deuteronomy 30. 15, 19). God offers forgiveness to those who believe in Jesus Christ. The believer will then seek to please the One who loved him so much.
