Love passionately Jesus

I believe that the greatest devotion of the Christian is put into practice in the front line, in the heat of battle, with flames raging all around. In fact, I know many Christians whose devotion has been strengthened in the midst of a hectic life of spiritual warfare. They did not need to live alone on top of a mountain to love it with all their heart, they did not need to live in an isolated village to desire his return. They have learned to love Jesus with as much passion when they drive to work as when they are in their secret place.

Beloved, your certainty of the closeness of Jesus can not depend on your feelings. When you feel dejected, depressed, and do not have time to search for the Lord, the devil floods you with feelings of guilt and uselessness. You may think that Jesus left you saying : "I will come back to you when you have time to grant me." But the closeness of Jesus is maintained by faith ! It has nothing to do with your feelings.

When someone pushes you or pushes you on the subway or in the elevator, whisper to Him : "O God, I believe, by faith, that You are here, very close to me. Protect me, Lord. Keep me and do not let the unclean spirit of the world seep into me "

Those who truly love Him want His company, no matter how frantic their lives are. Devotion to Jesus means trusting Him for all the needs of the body, the soul and the spirit. When you suffer in your soul, run to Jesus - do not seek answers from another source.

The Bride of Christ will be those who have stopped seeking help, consolation or satisfaction elsewhere on Earth. They will have learned to depend entirely on Him whom they love to satisfy all their hunger and thirst. May your love for Jesus remain passionate - and trust Him to reveal Himself to you in His fullness.
