Love : the winning ticket

"Love never succumbs" 1 Corinthians 13.8

The Bible says : "Love never succumbs". Think of it : money does not make happy, glory does not bring self-esteem, and vengeance does not bring any satisfaction. Only love never succumbs.

Only Jesus founded his empire on love During his visit to the United Nations, the heads of state asked Mother Teresa : "How can we obtain peace in the world ?" She replied : "Go home and love your family." If everyone did, the "Paradise Lost" would become the "Paradise Found" !

Napoleon Bonaparte said : "Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and I have founded great empires, but what have we made our power rest on ?" - "Only Jesus has founded his empire over love, Millions of people are ready to die for him."

Sometimes leaders only hold power. As you can not help others without making you vulnerable, they take your manifestations of love for weakness. In fact, you can not love the conditional. To really love your spouse, your children or those you manage, you must give yourself unreservedly, even if you are injured or even rejected.

The holders of power seek to protect themselves and all their possessions. True leaders give themselves without concession. This way of steering may seem old-fashioned. Yet, according to the Scriptures, it remains the only winning strategy.

A thought for today

The Bible says, "It is not a spirit of timidity that God has given us, but a spirit of strength, love and wisdom" 2 Timothy 1.7 This is why love is the winning ticket.
