Make a contract with God

“Put yourselves wholly as servants to righteousness to live for God.” Romans 6:19

Submission is the secret of real life ! No other way is possible for the children of God ! Any other way of living only leads to disappointment, bitterness, a depressive attitude, going as far as “spiritual suicide”. The Bible says that submission to God is “the true worship” we owe Him (Romans 12:1). You will prove your wisdom by always saying yes to God ! It may take years for you to finally realize that the greatest obstacle between you and the blessings of God is... yourself ! It is impossible for you to obey God's plans for your life while following your own will. Before transforming your character, God needs you to submit to Him. Leave everything at His feet: your regrets about the past, your current problems, your future ambitions, your fears, your dreams, your weaknesses, your habits, your wounds... everything. Let Jesus take over the helm of your ship. Stop panicking. Whatever the storm, He will know how to control it. He alone can calm a raging sea and command the waves to calm. With Jesus as your master, you can accomplish anything. One of the greatest spiritual leaders of the 20th century was Bill Bright. Thanks to his tracts and the film “Jesus” (4 billion people have seen it !), more than 150 million people have come to know Jesus Christ. When asked one day why God had used him so much, he replied : “When I was only a teenager, I made a contract with God. I actually wrote a contract on a sheet, dated and signed this document which said : “From today I become a slave of Jesus Christ.” Would we be able to do the same ?
