Make the good choice !

"I am the LORD your God, who fortifies your right hand, who say to you : Fear nothing, I come to your help." Isaiah 41:13

How much I remember this day of March 15th of 1996 ! I remember it as if it were yesterday, because that day I wanted to end my days.

My life was in ruins, one day I made the choice to believe ...

All morning, I stayed with a knife in my hand trying to find the strength to cut my veins.

At that moment, I would have liked to cling to something that would have given me a taste for life, but everything was black around me! There was no way out ! Death seemed to be the only solution !

While I was not yet a Christian, I happened to go to church several times and I especially enjoyed two things during worship: praise and preaching. However, I was still perplexed about the veracity of the word that was announced.

While I was meditating on my condition, a word I had heard before spoke to me : "He who believes in me will live, even if he were dead." (John 11:25). I then asked myself : "What do you have to lose by trying to believe this word ?"

Life is not always easy and maybe you are focused on a particular situation and you think there is no favorable outcome ?

Let me tell you : No matter what the current state of things, God has already traced a path to get you out of there ! You are not alone in this painful and painful path. He walks with you "... as a hero who saves ..." (Zephaniah 3:17).

Today, why not decide to replace the "point" with a "comma" and to entrust you totally to Him ? What do you have to lose by making this choice ?

My life was in ruins, one day I made the choice to believe and I can tell you that God has completely rebuilt it !

"Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God ?" (John 11:40).

Lord, I choose to believe in you and in your word ! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
