"When there is no revelation, the people know no restraint, but if he respects the law, he is happy." Proverbs 29.18
What is the dream that God has placed in your heart ?
I do not ask you if you have one, I know you have a dream because God gives it to everyone.
Keep your vision constantly in front of you.
I realized that people were doing all kinds of things with their dreams. Some bury them very deeply in their hearts to protect them from criticism of others. Some put them aside so they do not have to think about it anymore. And still others give up their dreams, simply because hanging on to them is too painful.
If your dream needs to take off, there are two things you need to remember :
First, you need to define a clear vision.
Second, you must keep your vision constantly in front of you.
But to receive a vision does not mean that it will be realized instantly. God is as much interested in the process of constructing the vision as in its final fulfillment.
The apostle Paul said in Philippians 4: 13-13 that he had to learn to be contented and satisfied, to the point of no longer depending on the conditions in which he was. In other words, he never allowed himself to be angry because of where he was ... he was always looking forward to the next step.
In the same way, it means that you have to find a balance between contentment and ambition. Here is the key : learn to rejoice where you are on the road to fulfillment. When you have a dream or vision, you must keep it constantly in front of you. If it helps, write it down. And remember, God is going to help you live the dream he has given you, step by step, day in and day out.
A prayer for today
"Jesus, although I do not always feel it and life drives me to give up, I think you have a big project for my life, I choose to trust you, rather than my circumstances, to help me to live the dream you have placed in me."
Joyce Meyer
