Maybe hidden, but in God !

Jeremiah 31.3 - From afar the Lord shows himself to me : "I love you with everlasting love ; that’s why I keep my goodness to you”.

David, the hero that many of us know from the Bible, the one who brought down the giant, the great warrior, the worshiper of God, the man who was called "the man after the heart of God". Oh, wouldn't you like to look like such a man ? I believe so, we would all like to have the closeness that this man had with God.

But... yes, there is a but : David who loved God, who was a man chosen by God, loved by God, fell. He became an adulterous and murderous man, yes he, the man after the heart of God. I invite you to read the whole story of David if you do not know it yet, its story is incredible (1 Samuel 16 to 1 Kings 2).

You will be able to read through these lines that David suffered greatly from his fall but that God restored him and that he remained for God, despite everything, the man according to his heart. Incredible no ! Would we not have disqualified him, thrown ourselves to the bottom of hell ?

Also, you who are reading these lines and who say to yourself : "I am like David, I was in the service of God and I fell, I have sinned and since that day, I have kept myself hidden, I'm ashamed, I no longer dare to look up to God. I love God but I believe that I will never be able to have a relationship of love with Him again, I will no longer be able to adore Him as I did before, to enter into his presence ». Moreover, Christians, servants, told you : "It's over, you are nothing more", you may have even been told that you were only a henchman of Satan, good for hell.

You humbled yourself before God but you are hidden, ashamed ! My friend, today is the time for you to raise your head, to turn to your Lord, to come back into his presence. If there's a place you can hide, it's right there, under his wing, where the healing is. The work of Jesus on the cross is still for you. Come back ! Come back, God is waiting for you. He's not done with you. This is the time for you to be restored, lifted up and made well by God Himself.
