We are strongly encouraged, we whose only refuge has been to seize the hope that was offered to us. We have this hope as a solid and sure anchor of the soul. Hebrews 6:18, 19
Meet up there
A small village of Auvergne in altitude invited to come to see the animations, the spectacles and the artisanal market with its words : "Meet up there".
It reminds the Christian that he's got a meeting up there too. Jesus made this promise to his disciples before he left them : “There are many mansions in my Father's house. If it had not been so, I would have told you. I will prepare a place for you. since I am going to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you with me so that, where I am, you may also be there" (John 14. 2, 3). It is the blessed hope that encourages and consoles all those who have put their trust in Jesus. They are confident that their Savior has been resurrected and that He Himself will come and seek those who are His. “Indeed, the Lord himself, at a given signal, by the voice of an archangel and the sound of the trumpet of God, will come down from heaven and those who died in Chris will be resurrected first. Then we who are shall still be alive, we shall all together be caught up with them in clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Encourage one another therefore with his words" (1 Thessalonians 4. 16-18). This "meeting up there" gives the believer strength, joy, and purpose for daily living. He can sing with the poet :
Up there in the Father's house,
In you, Jesus, I have all the goods,
All the treasures of the sanctuary,
Lord your face is my light
Your glory and your love are mine.
