Morning is coming !

Psalms 30.5 - For his anger endures a moment, but his grace all life ; in the evening come the tears, and in the morning joy.

I would like us to take some encouragement from this verse. Maybe today we are in a time of tears, maybe we feel that the wrath of God is upon us. Everything is dark, sad and finding a ray of hope seems too great a miracle !

The first encouragement we can take is that the time of "pain" has come to an end ! Another morning will come after that night of sorrow and it will produce songs of joy. The "wrath" of God lasts only a moment, but all of our lives we will benefit from his grace.

The second encouragement I find in this verse is that the transformation takes place at night. The child of God enters this agonizing time of the night with tears but a source of joy, communicated by the Holy Spirit, begins to boil in him and the coming of the morning blows up this source ! The new season of the morning sweeps away all the sufferings of the season of the night.

My beloved, let us raise our heads ! The "fix" will have an end ! The night will come to an end ! The crying will have an end ! You will certainly have a happy future, Jeremiah tells us (Jeremiah 15.11). Let us let ourselves be flooded by this grace which comes from our God. Let us allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by this word of hope which will lead us in a firm and unshakeable faith. Let us declare with force : "No I will not die but I will live !" No this ordeal will not have my skin ! No crying will not destroy me ! Morning is coming, it is near, very near and I will be overflowing with joy".
