Never give up !

In the Apocalypse, Christ speaks of Himself as "THOSE WHO OPEN AND CLOSES THE DOORS" (see Revelation 3: 7). These words are found in a letter that was sent to the Christians of ancient Philadelphia, a church of the Lord complimented for keeping the word of perseverance in Him and never denying His name. Simply put, even in the most difficult times, these people relied faithfully on the Word of God. They did not accuse the Lord of having neglected them or of turning a deaf ear to their cries.

Obviously, Satan came to them with his lies. His principalities and powers of darkness, those false spirits poured out from the bowels of hell, told them that God had closed all doors, that He was not worthy of worship or faith. But these believers, whom Jesus said had little strength, continued to trust, waiting patiently for God to place the key in the door and open it. He holds the key to all the closed doors - and He alone places before us open doors.

This is what the Lord promised them, and it is a promise for us also :

"Because thou hast kept the word of perseverance in me, I will also keep thee in the hour of temptation which shall come upon the whole world, to test the inhabitants of the earth" (3:10).

But you - because you still believe in His promises and are ready to die in faith, even if you do not see their fulfillment - you will be kept from the temptation of unbelief that will fall upon the whole world. God heard your cry and he knows the right time, the right time, to open the doors. So, never give up. Never doubt. Firmly holds His promises. He will not disappoint you !
