No great than God !

"We saw there the giants, the children of Anak, of the race of the giants : we were in our eyes and theirs as locusts." Numbers 13.32-33

A few months ago, when I was abroad for several evangelistic campaigns, I had to face incessant attacks from the devil. He kept pounding my thoughts by saying things about my family in order to plunge me into awe : "Your children, your wife, you do not know yet but she is sick. To you, I guarantee you that you will not finish your mission ... "

Do not look worried, for I am your God.

Believe me, in such moments, only one thing is necessary. It is to trust God. Is it not greater than he who seeks to destroy me ? "He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world." 1 John 4.4

It is true that the ten spies sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan had seen giants, ready to reduce to dust all those who tried to settle there. However, facing the sons of Anak, the monumental error they committed was to consider them greater than God !

Fear having invaded their hearts, they put God aside and incited the people to retreat. "We can not go up against this people, for it is stronger than us." Numbers 13.31

Have you ever been tetanized by fear ? Is a barrier on your way enough to make you back off ?

When you undertake something for God, the devil will always use stratagems to defeat your mission. Nevertheless, whatever the nature of this obstacle, a question should be imposed on you : Is this situation greater than my God ?

The answer that is yours is logically enough to banish the fear that is in your heart and allow you to continue following the great "I Am" !

"Do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not look worried, for I am your God, I strengthen you, I come to your aid, I support you with my triumphant right." Isaiah 41.10

Father, I proclaim that you are greater than all and above all !
