Oh those kids !

1 Corinthians 10:11 - These things happened to them for examples, and they were written for our instruction.

We've all been young teenagers eager to experience new things, to bite into life and for the most part we've had parents who told us : "Don't do this, be careful with that, be careful with such a thing...", and we, young people knowing everything, we had only one desire, it was to send our dear parents for a walk. Then, as we got older, we became parents ourselves and the process repeats itself. How much we understand today our parents who used consideration towards us in order to save us a lot of hassle and setbacks for our lives.

It's the same with God ! The Lord, through his Word, tells us with tenderness : "Beware of this, observe that...". It is not a rule that He dictates to us but in His Word He shows consideration towards us knowing that thus, if we listen to Him, we will avoid certain sufferings.

On this day, let's not play the rebellious child but let's have a docile child's heart, listening to our Heavenly Father. He loves us so much.
