One faith more greath

"So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes from the word of Christ." Romans 10:17

Do you want more faith ? The Bible tells us that faith can grow and grow. Note that the text of this day does not say : "Faith comes when we once heard the Word of God." No, the verb is in the present : faith comes when we hear the message.

Just as a seed needs water every day to germinate, your mind needs every day the Word of God.

We must hear the Word of God again and again, that it may take root in our hearts and transform our thoughts. Of course, it is capable of transforming us instantly, but most of the time, it is the repeated exposure to Scripture that makes our faith grow.

Just as a seed needs water every day to germinate, your mind needs every day the Word of God. The more you hear His Word, the better you know God. And the better you know it, the more you will be inclined to believe it. That is what faith is !

Today, why would not you choose some verses to meditate on ? Note them on a sheet that you will keep in your pocket or in your bag. Let the truth of the Word transform you and bring you into the abundant life that God has prepared for you.

A prayer for today

Father, thank you for your Word that is alive and effective and that grows in my life. I'm back to you today. Teach me your ways. Teach me to probe your Word in order to know you better. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
