Persevere in sharing your testimony !

“We carry this treasure in earthen vessels.” 2 Corinthians 4. 7

Paul tells us : "We carry this treasure in earthen vessels so that this extraordinary power may be attributed to God and not to us." What matters is not the quality of the vases, but the value of the contents. A vase (or a plate, a cup, a pot...) can be chipped or its surface scratched, however, as long as it is clean, washed and scrubbed carefully, it can continue to play its role. Don't be discouraged if you realize that you are a damaged “vase” or if someone wants to throw you away. The treasure you carry in this “vase” is worth much more than what you yourself are worth. Dare to share your story with someone who needs to hear your unique story. The Samaritan woman only told the people of her village that this stranger named Jesus knew all about her and her past. Jennifer Heeren said : “She only sharpened their curiosity !” But it was enough to get them to go meet this man and find out that He was the Savior of the world. To the man Jesus had just freed. from the influence of evil spirits, and who wanted to follow Him, Jesus said : “Go to your house, to your people and tell them all that the Lord has done for you, how he had mercy on you” (Mark 5. 19). In this worthless “vase” that you are hides a pearl of great value that you are not allowed to keep just for yourself. happy ending. If you have been through difficult times in your life before discovering Jesus, do not embellish your story, but be honest. Those who listen to you will believe your story better if they understand that theirs is not that different of yours except for the grace of God who saved you. i can save them. And you will be blessed yourself, because telling your story with its ups and downs will keep your “first love” alive (Revelation 2. 4) !
