Do you like looking at your old photo albums ? The other day, I leafed through several ; it reminded me of many happy moments spent with my family.

Usually, we like to keep a memory of the best episodes of our life, but no one would think of having their picture taken when it's not to their advantage and keeping track of their bad times : anger by example. Now, God records our whole lives. He knows all our actions, all our words and even our every thought. He remembers every detail and will judge every human life.

Fortunately all of our guilty past can be erased. The faults that we have forgotten, just like those that still make us blush with shame, years later, can completely disappear before the righteousness of God. How is it possible ? By the blood of Jesus Christ. He underwent the judgment for the sins of those who trust in him at the cross. His offered life responded to the demands of God's righteousness and holiness.

He "made peace through him by his blood on the cross" (Colossians 1:20) and now God forgives all sinners who approach him in the name of Jesus Christ, and he welcomes them as his children.

"He who believes in him is not judged" (John 3:18).
