"[The serpent] said to the woman : Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden ?" Genesis 3. 1

 
The Bible mentions the subject of the doubt from the beginning with Eve. God had placed Adam, her husband, in a beautiful garden ; He had accompanied his many blessings one ban. But now the devil comes and seeks to doubt the words of God and his motives. Eve listened to the tempter ... and we know the disastrous consequences. We are still suffering today.
Let us try to examine some aspects of this question. Where is he from ? First, it is the result of the activity of the devil, still ready to repeat : "Yea, hath God said ?". Eve does not seem convinced that the prohibition of God is good for her ; the forbidden tree, she sees the "midst" of the garden, as if his thoughts had already turned around (Gen. 3. 3). Does it not happen we are too arrogant to criticize what God tells us in His Word, to retain only what suits us, adding when his words seem incomplete ?
How doubt he watch ? Eve interprets the commandment of God instead of the quote. Any questioning of the inspired Scripture made us lose our foundation : it leaves only the quicksand of changing our thoughts. The faith, the opposite of doubt is based on the Word of God (Rom. 10. 17).
How to get out? Let us convince the Bible by reading it regularly. Later, Eve believe God calls since his firstborn "acquisition" and said, "I have gotten a man with the Lord" ; it is aware that only God allowed him to have a child despite the sentence imposed on it (Gen. 16 3. 4. 1).
What withdraw ? In a crisis situation, to rely on God and his Word allows us to experience ourselves the validity and the riches it contains. Then we will be stronger and able to show others that it is truly the foundation of our faith.
