Nobody wants to have an accident when he moves on the road, bicycle, motorcycle or car. We all hope to get well. Yet he not go a day without someone lose his life in a traffic accident. What are the rules to follow to reach your destination safely ? Here are three main :
- The vehicle manufacturer has provided you with instructions for use and maintenance. It is he who best knows your vehicle, since he designed and built. If he recommends a type of tire, regular maintenance of the brakes of your car, this is not to push spending: it merely indicates the safest way to travel and the best way to maintain the vehicle so as not to crash.
- But respect the maintenance of rules is not a sufficient guarantee of security. One can have a fatal accident with a vehicle from the factory. We must also respect the traffic rules. These rules may seem restrictive, but they protect us and also protect others.
- Finally, of course, a constant vigilance is needed. As a designer, manufacturer and legislator, God knows what is good for us and what is necessary for us to lead a happy life, in communion with him. It's in the Bible that God reveals his thoughts and his will. The Word of God is an irreplaceable guide to the journey of the Christian on earth.
What we must also absolutely understand is that God always wants the best for his children. If we understand that God's commandments are born of his love for us, our obedience born of our love for Him ; His commandments do not seem painful.
Finally, be vigilant because our adversary the devil tries to make us commit driving errors and constantly lies in wait on the road of our life (1 Pet. 5 8).
"Who knoweth the word shall find good, and who trusts in the Lord is blessed" (Prov. 16. 20).
So, good road !
