Prepare well

Prepare to meet your God, Israel ! […] Seek the Lord, and you shall live ! Amos 4.12 and 5.6

Have you noticed ? The race of the top seems interminable... But its speed of rotation regresses inexorably, soon it wobbles, it trembles and, in a fatal oscillation, stops defeated by gravity... Everything in this world is subjected to the wear of time and sees its twilight. All men know it, and yet how many are preparing for the Hereafter ?

Through the prophet Amos, the Bible says: Prepare to meet your God. Certainly, death is frightening for those who have not come to terms with God. However, he said through the prophet : Seek the Lord, and you shall live.

Whoever cares only for what is nothingness and mortal will mourn tomorrow saying : Alas ! Alas ! (Amos 5.16) Today it is not right to despise God who has never despised us. Not only does he give men this earthly life, but he destines them for immortality with him ! Indeed, God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

The arrow of time advances... We must get in line with God. To surrender to Jesus in faith and to implore his forgiveness for his faults is to prepare for the hereafter !
