Prepare your projects

"Don't you know that I have been making this project for a long time, that from ancient times I have been forming it ?" Isaiah 37.26

As a child, did you not have extravagant dreams, dreams that over time you relegated to the drawer of a forgotten past ? You did not become an astronaut or a successful actor or singer. Later you have developed other dreams but few of us are committed to exploring the possibilities and preparing plans to realize one of these dreams. From Genesis we discover that our God loves order, that He carefully thinks and prepares what He is going to create. He leaves nothing to chance, a word that does not belong to His vocabulary ! Consider the cosmos and you will understand how much He loves mathematics and physics. Look at the richness of the infinitely small, in the human body among others, and you discover how meticulous and precise He is. He loves to create and He made us in His image. Would He expect us to make no plans, make no plans ? He affirms to Isaiah : "Do you not know that I have long planned this project..." He does not object to our doing the same. On the contrary, He wants us to prepare plans, knowing that these plans will only succeed if they align with His will. (Proverbs 16:9). David cried out : “Lord, show me your ways, teach me your paths” (Psalm 25:4). And in the book of Proverbs we read : “Arrange your affairs outside, take care of your field ! Then you will build your house” (Proverbs 24:27). In other words, do not rush into action without planning in what order you will act ! But above all, put God first in your plans : “Seek first the kingdom and the righteousness of God, and all this will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). Here is His word for you today !
