Principle of monitoring

"Everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and enslaved, is given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell except the one with the mark of the Beast, Or the number of his name." Revelation 13: 16-17

Nowadays terrorism is becoming increasingly virulent on our planet. One could be pleased that many attacks can be avoided by the rigorous exploitation of meager information : images of a surveillance camera, geolocation of a mobile phone, decryption of messages coded on the Internet ... These new technologies seem providential, and From a certain point of view they are! This begins with our new biometric passports, with a "chip" that brings together identity data such as our fingerprints, our digitized photo ... A laudable goal is to justify these new security methods : better fight against terrorism for example. But they are part of a vast movement of computerized gathering of all information about the citizens we are.

A journalist wrote recently : "As long as we have minimum democratic guarantees, this record can still be considered a necessary evil ; But what would happen tomorrow, if an authoritarian regime, even dictatorial, came to power ? The believer, on the other hand, sees this principle of surveillance further on. He sees the future domination of the Beast (a dictator under the power of Satan) who will seize these technological data to list all the inhabitants of the earth, know everything about each one and can thus dominate and govern them Iron hand. Everything seems to be set up for this close moment, with all the persecutions that will accompany it to strike those who will refuse "the mark of the Beast."

The child of God, who sees these things happen, knows that he will have been taken up in heaven before they are totally placed in the service of the Beast; He will be "forever with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:17). But let those who are lukewarm or always give the beneficial contact with God the next day open their eyes ! This guiding principle is a harbinger of Satanic rule and the years of tribulation, when it will be too late to come to terms with God. Everything shows the imminence of the Lord's return to take away his Church. "Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts" (Heb. 3: 7).
