Ready for the end ?
Matthew 24.12 - kai dia anomia plethuno, agape polus psucho !
I would like us to do some Greek and I offer you this translation : (At some point) the divine love of the majority will turn cold, the reason is that the absence of rules will have developed !
This is one of the harbingers of the end of time. But the thing I would like to draw your attention to is that this is not about the world, but about the disciples of Jesus, which is the Church. Why am I saying this ? This is because the word "agape" always refers to love in a divine sense. This is the most important virtue of Christianity. The world cannot manifest the "agape", so they cannot lose it.
Why will this love grow cold or turn cold ? Because Christians will no longer put up with rules, order and discipline. Jesus said : "Make disciples of all the nations" (Matthew 28:19), that is, people who allow themselves to be taught in the precepts of the Lord. We were talking about it with a community leader some time ago, for many it was: everyone does what they see fit (Judges 17.6). I'll let you draw the conclusions, I'm just quoting the Word of God.
The chaos that is affecting our Western society should serve as a counter example and push us to return to the precepts of the Word. The stakes are high because the Lord goes on to say : "But he who endures to the end will be saved" (Matthew 24:13). The implication is that whoever lets himself be drawn into anomie (absence of rules), and there will be a large number, will not be saved.
My beloveds, I invite you to meditate deeply on this thought and to take stock for your own life. It would be so damaging to have believed and ultimately not to inherit salvation because you have allowed lawless thinking to invade your heart.
Good meditation.
