"But it is not the gift of grace as of fault, for if by the fault of one alone the multitude has suffered death, still more the grace of God, grace granted in one man, Jesus Christ, has spread in abundance over the multitude." Romans 5.15
Grace is the power God gives you to live by the way he calls you to do it.
On the other hand, God does not grant us his grace for us to disobey. If he tells us not to do something that we decide to do in spite of everything, we experience the painful loss of his anointing.
Jesus died to cover your sins ...
Grace goes hand in hand with skill. God gives us His grace so that we can fulfill our call. When we follow our own plans, we must accomplish them on our own. But when we follow His guidance, He always provides the grace and energy we need to do what He calls us to do.
I like the fact that if we really have to choose to receive his grace, we have nothing to do to deserve it. When you decide to obey the call of God, I is ready to help you.
Jesus died to cover your sins so that you could walk justified before God and have access to the Holy Spirit who can help you live your daily life well.
I urge you today to make sure that you are in a position to receive his grace and abilities. If you are tempted to follow your own path, tell God that you want to follow him and ask for his help. He will always be faithful to grant you His grace.
A prayer for today
Holy Spirit, I can not succeed in my life without your grace. I want to follow your call and I ask you to help me to live everyday like you want it.
