Receive the love of God

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3.16

Are you convinced that God loves you ?

"God loves you !"

It's easy to feel your love when all is well. But when the situation gets complicated... you lose your job or the disease affects your home, it is much more difficult to say that God knows your situation and that he loves you, he is for you and he will never stop walking beside you.

At one time, I had decided to develop a really powerful teaching. I wanted to study the deep truths so that I could present them in such a way that everyone who hears my lectures gets a better understanding of their spiritual relationship with God. I wanted to reveal the hidden meanings and to be a messenger of a new revelation.

When I asked God to show me what I needed to study more specifically, I felt he was asking me to tell my listeners that he loves them. Nothing but the simple truth of his love. I was stunned. Everyone in this audience knew the passage of John 3.16. I found there was no new or hidden truth there.

But I learned that it was not the case. In fact, very few know God's unconditional love for them... no matter what, whatever they do. You just have to look around : if people knew how much God loves them ... they would behave quite differently.

No matter how many times you have recited John 3:16, intellectual knowledge is of no use to you. She needs to transform herself into a knowledge of the heart. Once you have had the revelation of this truth, no one can take it away from you or make you believe otherwise. You SAVE it, that's all.

Once you know that God loves you, you will be able to receive his love. And once you can receive this love, you will be able to fully obey His command to love others. You will know how to put their needs before yours, forgive them and serve them. You can not truly love others until you know that God loves you !
