Recognize God in Every Situation

Searching the Scriptures

Recognize him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight. Proverb 3.6

Do you want to be assured that God has taken control of your path, of your life, that He is directing you, guiding you in your decisions and that He is ready to solve your problems ? The words you have just read are the key to this assurance.

This verse : "Recognize him in all your ways", evokes the Lord. Every pause, every turn, every moment that you have the opportunity to relax and breathe for a moment and are not under the pressure of a particular decision to make, acknowledge it.

The best way to recognize him is to simply thank him. Thank him for taking care of everything. Thank him for his loyalty. Thank him for all the help you have received from him in the past. Thank him for his wisdom. Thank him for his power. When you thank him, you recognize him. He continues to rule your life and your situation. And in this way, he continues to guide and direct you.

Recognize it every moment, just by a short prayer, like this : "Thank you Lord. Thank you for taking care of this situation. Thank you because you have the answer to this problem. At every step Lord, I will you. recognize. I bring you every question. I submit to you every decision. Thank you Lord for taking charge of it. Thank you for willingly accepting the responsibility". When you recognize it this way every step of the way, you can be sure that it will actually smooth your paths.

Listen to the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God means. Are there areas of your life where you do not yet recognize God ?

Praying is easy. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer : "Lord, help me to cultivate gratitude and to recognize you in every detail of my life."

Praise God

To praise God is to show him our gratitude. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a time to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our route for the day comes to an end. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, thank you for being here and for leading my every step. Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, amen !"
