There is no salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Salvation is an act of God. He is initiated by God, created and supported by God. The faith that saves the soul is described as a faith in Christ as the Son of God - not as a good man or a great man, but as the only begotten Son of the living God !

This is consistent with the testimony of the entire New Testament and with the proclamations of the first preachers of the gospel. All proclaim the necessity of faith in Jesus Christ as a deity.

Prayer for the day

Lord Jesus, Son of God, I adore you without reservation and praise your holy name.
