Satisfied by righteousness

And my God will provide for all your needs according to his wealth, with glory in Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:19

The man is hungry for food and God sends the sun and the rain on the fields of golden grains. The grain is turned into flour and the flour into bread, and the physical hunger of the man is satisfied. Man is hungry for love ; and God kindles the fire of affection into another heart, and two hearts are made complete in the bonds of holy marriage.

Man thirsts for knowledge and God raises learning institutions, calls men to be instructors, puts them in the hearts of the rich to endow them ; and men are satisfied with their thirst for learning. Man craves companionship ; and God allows him to build cities where men can share their industry, knowledge and skills.

Do not tell me that God can provide man with an abundance of all material things and yet let him die of spiritual hunger !

Prayer for the day

You have abundantly provided for my greatest need, Heavenly Father, because you have given me love.
