Separated from the love of Jesus

Religious people tend to focus on darkness rather than light. I hear so many Christians spitting bitter words : "Culture is in question," or "it's the government's fault," or "this interest group has a negative influence." If you walk like it's Jesus, you do not curse the darkness because you are focused on the light you bring. Let me illustrate my words.

Imagine that you are attending a church meeting when, suddenly, all the lights go out and the place is totally dark. If a housekeeper lights even a tiny light in this room, it will be immediately noticed by everyone in the assembly, wherever they are. My friend, it's an image of you in a completely darkened world. No matter how vast the dark place may be, your light can be seen by anyone in the vicinity. She can not be hidden, so let her shine! So, it's no longer necessary to be caught in an anxious conversation about our culture.

This way of walking not only draws you out of the religious mode of functioning, but it transports you to the love of Jesus. This never happens as a result of a religious performance. As John reminded us : "For us we love him, because he loved us first" (1 John 4:19).

If we try to accomplish the works of God by our own strength, by being separated from His love, there will be no power behind. Paul points out : "Indeed, suppose I speak the languages ​​of men and even those of angels : if I do not have love, I am nothing more than a trumpet trumpet or a loud cymbal" (1 Corinthians 13: 1, Sower version).

In contrast, the love of Christ gives us a desk everywhere, with behind the eternal power of Heaven : "Love will have no end. the prophecies will cease, the unknown tongues will come to an end, and the particular knowledge will cease .. Our knowledge is partial, and partial are our prophecies. But the day when perfection [perfect love] will appear, what is partial will cease" (13: 8-10).
