Speak the languages of angels (continued)

I love prayer in tongues and I pray in tongues every day. Prayer in tongues brings me to glory. But I realize that when I have to speak to men, prayer in tongues can not do much for them unless I interpret it for edification (1 Corinthians 14: 5). I must speak the language of men to be understood by them !

I know a man who only used the book of Revelation and "apocalyptic news" to proclaim the Gospel. In all circumstances, he spoke of the end of the world, the mark of the beast and other apocalyptic subjects to speak to men. However, his language was perhaps not always appropriate and therefore understood by those to whom he addressed himself. The apostle himself knew how to use the language of men. He will go so far as to say in the wisdom that God had given him in the proclamation of the Gospel : "With the Jews, I was like Jew... I was weak with the weak, in order to win the low. I made myself all to save some of them anyway" (1 Corinthians 9: 20,22).

Paul did not use the same language to preach to the people's man and the governor. He knew how to adapt to men and use language that they could understand, because man must understand the Word of the Kingdom to receive it (Matthew 13:19).

Sometimes the Church has used a language called "Canaan". It is hard to understand this language when we are still in Egypt or on the way to the desert. God can go beyond our words, but God will use them also to speak. Paul states that when he first preached the gospel to the Galatians, they "welcomed him as an angel of God". God can use our mouth to make it look like angels. He is able to attach to our words a supernatural force, astonishing for the human heart.
