Speak the languages of men

"If I speak the languages ​​of men, and even those of angels, but I have no love, I am a copper that resonates or a cymbal that resounds" (1 Corinthians 13: 1).

"And Moses said to the LORD : Ah ! Lord, I am not a man with easy speech, neither yesterday nor the day before yesterday, nor even when you speak to your servant ; for my mouth and tongue are confused" (Exodus 4:10).

Although Moses had difficulty expressing himself easily, God made him one who certainly became the greatest leader of the Old Testament. It is said that the waking man, the evangelist Douglas Scott, spoke the French excessively badly. When he began a preaching, one understood almost nothing and for many it was incomprehensible mumbo jumbo. And then the Holy Spirit would grasp his mouth and convince the hearts of sin.

I once heard a young preacher come out of a Bible school. He was very well dressed and used words as well as he did. His language was adjusted, beautiful, beautiful. His language made a deep impression on me, but I do not remember what he said, I only remember his good language. I think he actually spoke so well that I did not hear what he was saying. We can very well express ourselves, but the anointing is not in a beautiful chain of words. The anointing is found in our obedience and sensitivity to the direction of the Holy Spirit.

I sometimes noticed that I used simple language, whether for preaching or writing. Sometimes I would like to use a stronger language, because I like the French language, but I make no effort to use that language. I prefer to speak with my heart, without artifice, and simply use the words that come to me with simplicity. That's how I feel I have to act.
