Speak the languages of men (continued)

We can have an embarrassed mouth and tongue, that will not stop God from acting, unless our heart is too. However, I do use simple language when speaking to people. Of course, God can use both the language supported and the familiar language, and this is where the point of this thought lies : language is only a pipe that lets the anointing flow. It is true that we sometimes have to use the right words, and that we can not address people in any way, but even if we use the best vocabulary and the most beautiful of the functions, to speak the languages ​​of men would not bring nothing without the love and presence of God.

When speaking to men, we must seek above all to love them. We could talk to them in the most beautiful way, but without love, it would do them no good.

The Apostle Paul was well aware of the poverty of the words : "For me, brothers, when I went to your house, it was not with a superiority of language or wisdom that I went to announce the testimony of God. For I did not have the thought of knowing among you anything but Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ crucified. I myself was near you in a state of weakness, fear, and great trembling ; and my word and my preaching were not based on the persuasive speeches of wisdom..." (1 Corinthians 2: 1-4).

I remember once meeting an unbeliever who spoke brilliantly. You could almost feel uncomfortable with your vocabulary devoid of superb, yet his language had no power. Nothing can replace love, and if you act with love, you will realize that it is the most beautiful and the strongest of languages. Love, with simplicity. Love will give your words by the Holy Spirit, strength and power of conviction. Love will act through your words, but also beyond your words, to touch the hearts of unbelievers.
