Success is promised to you

Search the Scriptures

Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth ; meditate on it day and night to act faithfully according to all that is written in it, because it is then that you will have success in your undertakings, it is then that you will succeed. Joshua 1.8

Some people have a new idea every day. Their thirst for success prevents them from focusing on a specific objective. They run in all directions and get lost in projects that they never materialize.

Many books have been written on the subject of success, some of which have become bestsellers, recommended to those who aspire to be successful. However, it would be unfortunate and even prejudicial not to examine the advice that God gave to Joshua on this subject. What does he tell her? He asks him to "act faithfully" according to his Word, not to turn away from it.

This valuable advice also applies to us. Honor the Bible, read it, make it our daily food. She will be a light on our path (Psalm 119.105). God wants us to be successful in whatever He asks us to do. It is up to us to follow its recommendations and put them into practice; then he will accompany us and give us success.

For Joshua, success was to succeed Moses and guide the people of God in the land of Canaan. What is it for you ?

Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. What purpose has God placed on your heart ? Have the will to reach it, do not turn away from it, because you are not alone, it walks with you !

Praying is simple. Speak to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer : "Lord, help me to be faithful in reading and meditating on your Word, on a daily basis."

Praise God

To praise God is to express our gratitude to him. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a time to thank the Lord.

Act today

In connection with today's meditation, we suggest you set up a reminder that will help you meditate on the Bible daily.

Honor the Lord

Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.
