"Come, I must regain my composure, for the Lord has done me good." Psalms 116.7
God has given you your body and he has also provided you with the user's manual : the Bible. It contains all the instructions you need to take care of yourself and live long.
"If you truly trust God, you will be less stressed."
You already know the basic principles : proper diet, physical exercise and adequate sleep. But there is also another factor that you may not have thought about to be healthy and live long : trust in God.
Trusting God is good for your health. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your understanding" (Proverbs 3: 5). Why is trust a health factor ? Because it chases the anxiety.
It is said in Psalms 116.7 : "Come, I must regain my peace, for the Lord has done me good." One could also translate : "I can relax because the Lord takes care of me." If you truly trust God, you will be less stressed.
You have the choice between worrying or worshiping God. Or, pray or give in to panic. However, the more you pray, the less you will panic.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 14:30 : "Peace of mind promotes health, but jealousy is like cancer." It is not only what you eat that is important, but also what "eats you". You can have the best macrobiotic and organic diet that exists, but if you are inhabited by resentment, anxiety, fear, desire, guilt, anger, bitterness or any other negative feeling, Will be abridged.
An action for today
Relax, for God will take care of you ! Just trust him. He knows the plans of peace he has planned for you (Jer. 29:11).
