The agenda of God

When God says : "I will use your life for My glory," we often forget that a sword is not forged in a hammock, it is forged on an anvil. It must be subjected to heat, hammering, being bent, reformed. All this is necessary and takes time. But during the process, we cry : "Lord, I thought you said you were going to use my life, but all I'm doing is going through the furnace. O Jesus, help me !"

The Lord answers you : "I told you that I was going to use your life for My glory ! But I'm not going to use you until you're ready."

The prophet Habakkuk said : "For it is a prophecy whose time is already set, it is coming to an end, and it will not lie ; If it is late, wait for it, because it will be fulfilled, it will certainly be fulfilled" (Habakkuk 2: 3).

The things that God has spoken to you will happen. If God said he was going to take your family home, then He will bring your family back home! If God said He was going to use your life, then He will use your life - but according to His agenda, not yours.

Paul exhorted the Philippians : "For the rest, brethren, all that is true, all that is honorable, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is kind, all that deserves the approval what is virtuous and worthy of praise, be the object of your thoughts" (Philippians 4: 8).

At times, God may seem silent, even if He has actually already sent the answer. But she faces some form of resistance before reaching us. This discomfort may actually be in us because we have listened to other voices that resist the voice of God. In today's society, we have so many voices and can so easily turn our thoughts on the wrong path. We must pay attention to who and what we listen to.
