The angels have charge over us

I say to the Lord : You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Psalm 91: 2

Modern psychiatrists say that one of the basic needs of man is security. In Psalm 91, we are assured that in God we have the greatest security : "No evil will happen to you no plague will approach your tent because it will order its angels to keep you in all your ways" If you read and reread this beautiful Psalm, you will discover that in it we have a permanent home and residence, and that all the comfort, security and affection from which the human heart aspires is found in Him. Perhaps no visible angel will appear in your life and mine, but God's promise of security is nonetheless real and certain. Those who live in the kingdom of God have real safety and security.

Prayer for the day

Wherever I go this day, you and your angels will be with me. Thank you, Lord, for the peace, love and security that you promise.
