Assurance of SalvationYour salvation is not guaranteed by your performance, but by that of Christ on the cross. You will have moments you will be proud of and others you will be ashamed of. But as long as your trust is in Christ, you're saved and you'll go to heaven.

Jesus said of his sheep : "I give them eternal life; they shall never perish, and no one shall pluck them out of my hand." In addition, the Bible proclaims it loud and clear : "He has marked us with his name and has poured out the Holy Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee of the good things he has in store for us" (2 Corinthians 1:22).

You have already engraved your name on a ring, a tool or filled in a password on your tablet. These actions are a way of asserting your ownership over it all. By his Spirit, God marks us. The presence of his name repels potential thieves. Satan recoils from this statement : "Hands off. This redeemed child is mine !"

Without the assurance of salvation, there is no peace. Without peace, no joy. And lack of joy leads to living in fear. Grace makes us say with confidence : "I know in whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he has the power to keep my deposit until that day" (2 Timothy 1:12).

Your boarding pass for Heaven is recorded : "I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13). It is not about controlling God, but about being under his control !

Listen the voice of God

Jesus makes you a child of God ! Let the Holy Spirit convince you of this heavenly reality.

Praying is simply talking to God. Your Heavenly Father loves you and He can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer to help you : "Lord, what a grace to belong to you and no longer live in fear. I want to live the abundant life that you have for me."

Praise God

Do you realize that you are part of the house of God ? Yes, isn't it ! So tell him how grateful you are for this undeserved eternal favor !

Act today

Stop complaining and decide today to raise your head and walk with joy as the favorite of God that you are !
