The autonomous car

The autonomous car will soon arrive on our roads. The first prototypes are already in testing. A GPS, a camera, several radars allow the vehicle to locate itself with great precision. An electronic card guides the vehicle in the desired direction. These multiple advanced technologies make it possible to face the most complex driving situations such as fog, snow, at night.

And us, how do we locate ourselves ? Where are we going ? What is our destination ? Do we have a life project ? We could say that God has given us better than a GPS. He has indeed given man many means to navigate in a safe manner.

- The Bible : it reveals to us the way to salvation, and can help us in our daily choices. The author of a psalm wrote : "Your word is a lamp at my feet and a light on my path" (119. 105).

- Our conscience : it allows us to discern good and evil.

- The Holy Spirit : he helps us understand and do the will of God.

- Prayer : it allows us to ask God for our way.

- The example left by Jesus in his perfect life on this earth is a model for us.

God therefore did not leave us without resources. It's up to us to take advantage of it. All believers will soon be with Jesus in heaven. This is their final destination : to be with Christ and see his glory. So, let's not take the wrong path, the outcome could be fatal !
