The bad decision engender of problems

In the following spring-the season in which kings usually depart for war-King David sent General Joab, at the head of the army of Israel and his officers, to fight the Ammonites ; They ravaged their country and besieged the capital Rabbah. David had remained in Jerusalem. 2 Samuel 11: 1

One of the reasons why things take a bad turn in our lives is because people do not make the right decisions. Here are some examples of David's evil decisions that led him to adultery with Batcheba.

David's evil decisions led him to sin with Batcheba

First, David should have been on the battlefield with his army. Secondly, when he saw Batcheba taking his bath, he should have looked away. Third, when he discovered that this woman was married, he should have ignored her and no longer thought about it.

David's evil decisions led him to sin with Batcheba. They caused him much suffering and pain. He could have avoided all this damage if only he had said "no" to temptation.

You can avoid many problems in life by making the right decisions. This will often mean saying "no" to temptation. God will always give you a way out. He is faithful.

Action for Today

Today, decide to turn your eyes, ears and body away from any temptation and run in the other direction.
