Jesus did not start in Bethlehem. The Bible says : "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jesus said that he existed before the foundation of the world. He was there when the moon and the stars were thrown into the space of the fiery fingers of the Father. He was there when God created this planet. He has always existed. He is "eternal to eternal".
Prayer for the day
You, Lord Jesus, who has always existed, descended from heaven lovingly and saved me from the depths of my sin. In humble adoration, I praise you, my Savior and my Lord.
