DJ Kennedy wrote : “Times are changing : the 20th century has been called the century of atheism, and the 21st century will undoubtedly be called the century of spirituality. For the pillars of atheism, materialism and secularism are crumbling." For a long time scientists have advocated an atheism based on science. But more and more scientific discoveries are proving how true the Bible is. Unfortunately the undermining work done over the past century has demolished the moral foundation of our society which depended on belief in God. Driving him out of our society has resulted in an inevitable deterioration in human behavior. Because they no longer feel responsible before God, men have given themselves over to their bestial instincts with the result of more murders, rapes, gratuitous violence... What Paul already declared two thousand years ago (Romans 1.24). Teach a man that he is just an animal and he will behave like one. Would you believe it, nearly 90% of astronomers today still believe in the existence of God, proving that “heaven tells the glory of God and expanse reveals the work of His hands” (Psalm 19.2). Consider, for example, the moon. Many people ignore the fact that life on our earth would be lost if the moon were to leave its orbit around the earth. Why ? Because it is at the origin of the tides, which play the role of aerator of the oceans, constantly blowing oxygen into them, without which the plankton, at the origin of the entire food chain of our world , could not survive. God created the moon the right size and placed it at an ideal distance from the earth to play a crucial role. Hundreds of other examples would prove that God is constantly working for our survival and well-being. The scholar HM Morris wrote : “Men who refuse to believe in God or who choose to cast Him away from their lives do not do so because science or reason has convinced them but simply because they have decided. to behave like this !”
