The Creator is our protector
Search the Scriptures
The Eternal will keep you from all evil, he will keep your soul ; the Eternal will guard your going and your coming, now and forever. Psalm 121.7-8
The psalmist gives a message of comfort. The creator is also our protector. He who created the entire universe, the mountains, the seas, the stars, will protect us. He will keep us from all harm. He will guard our departure and our arrival.
It's good to know that God is with us, not just when we start a journey, but until we finish it. He is with you when you go to work in the morning, but also when you come home in the evening.
God is always with you and will protect and keep you now and forever. God's protection does not just pass through time, but it extends out of time, into eternity.
He keeps us on each of the journeys we make here, but one day we will begin a completely different journey. We will leave time. We will enter eternity.
However, how good it is to know that even when we begin this last journey, God will guard not only our going, but also our coming. He will carry us safely through the gates of time into eternity fully, and He will be there to welcome us. The Creator is our protector.
Listen the voice of God
Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. He who wove you in your mother's womb and created you is your protector.
Praying is simple. Speak to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer : "Father, as David writes in Psalm 139 : where can I flee from your presence ? If I ascend to heaven, you are there ; if I lie down in hell, there you are. If I take the wings of the dawn to dwell at the end of the sea, there also your hand will lead me, your right hand will grasp me. Thank you for this wonderful truth and promise for my life. Amen."
Praise God
To praise God is to express our gratitude to him. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a time to thank the Lord.
Act today
Now, deepen what you have received. What can you put in place to apply what God has told you ? Write down concrete actions you can take.
Honor the Lord
Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.
"Lord, I praise you, for no God is like you nor will be. Yours is the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
