The danger of not wanting to hurt

Someone said that we have only one opportunity to make a good first impression. We could also say that we may have only one opportunity to announce the gospel to someone. The moment you are going to spend with this person is therefore of paramount importance, in the short term and in the long term. Every word must be well chosen, not by human wisdom, but by divine wisdom and inspiration. There are also some exchanges that last a few seconds, if for example you take the elevator with someone. Time is short... and you have to know how to use it.

Coming home from a church meeting tonight, there was a man in the hall who was signing a petition for the protection of birds in the area. This man has been protecting the environment for 20 years, apparently on a voluntary basis. Two women from the church started talking to him about his petition and one of them offered to pray for his healing (he had crutches).

Once I left, I continued to talk with him. His brother was an archbishop, who has been dead for two years, and his family is very practicing, except his brother who teaches at Harvard. The man is 75 years old and his name is Marc. He told me he was a telepath and that he smoked cannabis to help him. It was "Earth Day" in the province and a group had gathered with music for the occasion. I was disappointed to see that the artists were dismantling the scene, because I might have been able, if I had come a little earlier, to take the opportunity to talk about the Creator of the Earth, who is able to transform what is formless and empty !

I prayed for Marc because his left hip was causing him tremendous pain, but he did not want to move after the prayer for fear of falling, although I suggested that he do so to see his healing.
