The endless love of God

But to all who received it, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12

Who can describe or measure the love of God ? God is love. But the fact that God is love does not mean that everything is sweet, beautiful and happy, and that the love of God can not allow the punishment of sin. The holiness of God requires that all sin be punished, but the love of God has provided a plan of redemption and salvation for the sinful man. The love of God has provided the cross of Jesus Christ through which man can have forgiveness and purification. It is the love of God who sent Jesus Christ to the cross.

No matter what sin you have committed, it does not matter whether it's black, dirty, shameful or terrible, God loves you. Yet this immeasurable, unequivocal and endless love of God, that love of God that reaches wherever a man is, can be utterly rejected. God will not impose himself against anyone's will. It's your role to believe. It's your role to receive. No one else can do it for you.

Prayer for the day

Your love overwhelms me, Father. In spite of my sin, the death of Jesus on the cross can cleanse me of all the past. Humbly, I accept this gift, Lord.
