The false hopes and the true Gospel

There is a great difference between the false hopes given to sinners and the true Gospel. Millions of people around the world call themselves Christians. Do you know why ? They have been given false hopes. They were told that a Christian was a person who went to church and baptized his children as babies. This is a big, well-packed lie, which has been a highway to bring these millions of souls to hell. The devil is so good at camouflaging the worm in the midst of the fruit that sinners are persuaded to be good enough to enter the Kingdom of God, just as the rich young man thought he was holy enough to be approved of God.

When Peter preached the gospel many times, people said to him : "What shall we do ?". They were under a conviction of sin and wanted to be saved. And they were. What does Peter tell them ? He said : "Say yes to Jesus, and you will be saved !" ? Or again : "Accept Jesus" (as if he presented a vacuum that does not work well, trying to prove something) ? No. Peter does not tell them to repeat a magic prayer, but to convert, to make a total U-turn to their old life, to completely abandon their sins and their old way of life.

This is the true Gospel !

I have a friend who enrolled in a famous Christian music school in Australia. She expected to find herself with boiling Christians, but she had the terrible surprise of hearing the singing teachers teach music from pagan songs. And in the big church of this Bible school, it happened that we put a music of Michael Jackson to make wait the people before the worship begins. She was not surprised to discover that many of these young people were not saved at all! False hopes were created in them, presenting them with a gospel that is pleasing, a gospel that did not ask them to change, but only to come to church and engage in activities.
