The grace makes God accessible

"Let us then come boldly to the throne of grace, to obtain mercy and to find grace, to be helped in our needs." Hebrews 4.16

When we pray to God, let us remember that he is not confined to an inaccessible sky. Just as the God of heaven has come to us, so it is possible for us to cross the heavens to reach the throne of God. No obstacle can prevent us from reaching God, except that we do not take the right path.

Even if all roads lead to Rome, there is only one way to God : that of the grace that is bestowed on us in Christ.

There is only one way to God : that of the grace given to us in Christ.

The author of the book of Hebrews tells us of this access three times: Hebrews 4.16 - 7.18-19 - 10.22. He emphasizes that what enables us to reach God is our assurance based on grace and not on our works. The accusations of the devil do not have the power to prevent us from reaching God when our hearts are washed by the blood of the Lamb.

The Apostle Peter mentions one of those situations where our prayers can be blocked : "Husbands, show wisdom in your dealings with your wives ... honor them ... Let it be so, so that nothing will stand in the way of your prayers. " 1 stone 3.7

When violence, scorn, permanent conflict, are within a couple, or in a human relationship, prayers can not reach the throne of God. We must first, that the grace lived in forgiveness, resume all its place. Forgiveness puts us back on the path of grace.

A prayer for today

Thank you Father for this infinite grace that allows me to approach freely of you. You fill the space and the time, you live an inaccessible light : nevertheless, clothed in the justice of Christ which is offered to me by pure grace, I can come before you, without fear, before you the great God of the heavens and of Earth. Amen !
