The hand of God is on you

“God had chosen us in advance, according to his plan ; and God does all things according to what He has decided and willed.” Ephesians 1. 11

Even the most unfavorable circumstances can, in the hands of God, become opportunities for you to succeed. It can also change the attitude of others towards you and bring you their favor. Even the worst decisions your employer, relatives, or friends make about you can be turned into blessings by God. God is sovereign and bestows His favor on those who honor His name. So He can influence the decisions of powerful people. The Bible says : "The king's heart is a mere stream of water in the hand of the Lord ; He directs it as He pleases" (Proverbs 21:1). Consider Joseph's destiny. Sold as a slave by his brothers he finds himself in Egypt in the service of a high official Potiphar. But just when his life seems to be taking a better turn (Genesis 39. 2-6), he is wrongly accused of attempted rape and thrown in prison ( v. 20). In spite of everything, he continues to benefit from the divine benevolence (v. 21-23), and does not complain of his misfortunes. As in a soap opera with multiple twists, we discover that a chance to get out of it is finally offered to Joseph, when he successfully interprets the dreams of two officials who have fallen into disgrace with their sovereign. But this “luck” quickly evaporates and Joseph spends the next two years not knowing where God wants to lead him. But remains in his mind the two dreams of his childhood (Genesis 37. 5-11). never expect to see the dreams that God has revealed to you come true one day. Trust Him even if the time seems very long to you. Joseph, after years of waiting, receives the favor of the king : he is appointed governor of the whole country. If Joseph had been impatient, he would never have seen his dreams come true. The same goes for you !
