The hell and the place of torment

The hell (and the lake of fire) will be a place of eternal regret. Just imagine for a moment the moment you had the most physical pain in your life. Add it when you've been hurt the most emotionally. Add the moment when you have most regretted a bad action, to the point of being anxious. All these things put together could already be a basis for you to imagine what will be the lake of fire, if you still add eternity : a time that never stops. You suffer at this moment, then in a year, in seven years, in forty-seven thousand years, in thirty-seven billion years.

Thinking about it could drive us crazy. One man described the hell as a place where all that is good on the earth is removed. Men do not realize that they are enjoying the goodness of God today. They can take a big breath of air, they can contemplate the sky and drink fresh water, they can rest, sitting on a chair. In hell, there is not a single ounce of life, no light, no oxygen, no more tears to help cry, no water, no joy, no discussion or exchange with them. other.

I went one day to get vaccinated for traveling abroad, and I had vagal discomfort. Suddenly, I found myself in another "dimension". I could no longer hear what was happening around me, I could not move my body at all, so I did not have any physical awareness, but I could talk to myself. I had time to say : "How long will it last ?". I realized that even this situation would be hell if it was lived forever. It would be a terrible hell to be a soul shut up in itself, unable to communicate with anyone and without seeing any color.

God offers men so much better than that : eternal life. "For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself by not charging men with their sins, and putting the word of reconciliation in us" (2 Corinthians 5:19).
