The Holy Spirit is our "instructor"

Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish, from the presence of the Lord. He got off at Jaffa, and found a boat going to Tarshish. He paid the fare, and embarked to go with the passengers to Tarshish, far from the presence of the Lord. Jonah 1.3

Maturity of faith does not happen overnight. If we want to have a healthy, strong, and deep faith in God, we must exercise our faith to strengthen it.

Think of the soldiers in the army. When they are enlisted, they are not ready to fight. They need to be trained. They are exercised and trained relentlessly. Instructors must "equip" them to acquire strength, endurance, endurance.

Now, think about it in the matter of faith. At the beginning, we give our life to Christ then we begin a basic training and there, the Holy Spirit acts as our "instructor".

"The Holy Spirit knows exactly how we must be strengthened to be ready at all times."

The Holy Spirit knows exactly how we must be strengthened to be ready at all times. We just need to obey him, even when it's a challenge, and trust him because he knows how to strengthen our faith.

When you let the Holy Ghost train you, you realize that solid faith in God is well worth the time and effort.

My prayer for today

Holy Spirit, I submit to your formation. I want to have strong and mature faith. Train me so that I walk by faith and not by sight. Teach me to trust you in all circumstances.
