The library

The Bible brings together 66 books written over a period of 1500 years by around 40 authors. It is a real library, the most extraordinary there is.

Despite the diversity of writing styles, authors, circumstances and places of reaction, the Bible shows admirable unity, from Genesis, the first book, to the last, Revelation.

Book incomparable because it describes the moral state of man, without complacency, but with the concern of his recovery. The Bible, like a mirror, hides nothing, it speaks to the conscience but also to the heart of everyone. She touches the being in the depths of himself, without ever flattering him, without dodging his emotional needs and his natural instincts, always with the aim of helping.

An admirable book which, in a few lines or a few words, can uplift the mind to receive and accept revelations from God.

Book more precious than all treasures because it proclaims the love of God who loves the sinner. The proof of this love was the gift of Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, "that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

The Bible is a treasure, as long as it remains close at hand, read and meditate on it, with the desire to know God and the one he sent, Jesus Christ.
