As messengers of God, we will often lead lonely lives. "All men have abandoned me," said Paul. It's a price we have to pay ; there is solitude in the Gospel. Yet you will not be alone, because you will be served by the Spirit of God, as Elijah was served at Kerith Creek. A true messenger lives a busy life. If he is the vessel of the Lord, he carries in his heart a burden for souls that no one can share except those who know him first hand.
